Hey There,

I'm Finn Ruderman, a first-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on engineering design, robotics, and sustainable systems. I'm most energized when a problem requires both technical precision and creative thinking, especially when working with tight, real-world constraints.

I am currently building a strong engineering foundation in my first-year engineering curriculum, and have taken full advantage of the classes that the Frederick Honors College offers, namely Foundations Engineering Design. Through that class, I've gotten hands-on work with a variety of different design challenges, taking away new, tangible engineering skills from each one. Outside the classroom, I'm part of Engineers Without Borders, where I recently helped build a composting system for a local community garden, all the way from CAD to construction.

I'm early in my career and genuinely excited about it. Take a look at my work, and don't hesitate to reach out.
